Evenings With Extraordinary Artists: The Stage Guild’s Silver Season

January 25, 2012 at 5:30PM

Monroe House

The Washington Stage Guild, now celebrating its 25th anniversary season, produces eloquent plays of idea and argument, passion and wit, presented by a classical ensemble with a contemporary sensibility. Founded in 1986 by a group of Washington actors, artisans, and administrators, the company has gained an international reputation for its work, and is recognized as one of the world's preeminent presenters of the works of George Bernard Shaw and his circle. The Stage Guild has a long and happy relationship with the Arts Club, and Artistic Director Bill Largess and other company artists will mark the Silver Season with a program of "greatest hit” excerpts from the most beloved productions from the first 25 years.

Cost of the program is $20, including wine and hors d’oeuvres; reserve at 202-331-7282, ext 16, or administrator@artsclubofwashington.org by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24.
